One of the oldest types of window coverings, Roman Blinds are a single length of light to medium weight fabric that folds into even pleats with the use of stiff metal rods inserted at regular intervals into the lining of the material. Rather than rolling, these blinds use a narrow batten with the same pull-cord system as the roller blinds to raise and lower the shade.
